American actor and musician Awkwafina was the first to debut her sly lyrics that tackled issues of the issue of sexuality and race with an incisive and humorous perspective, before broadening her presence to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came through the instrument of trumpet. Jazz, classical and hip-hop lessons began when she was just a teenager. In college, she studied journalism and women's studies. She has appeared in films including Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. The actress made headlines during the year 2018, appearing in a handful of high profile films, including Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she published the EP in Fina We Trust.
