Sadie Amara Calvano is an actress from America who gained attention by playing Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom". Calvano has a family in California she was initially interested at competitive gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano determined to pursue acting as a profession. Her first screen appearance was in 2010 in an episode of the CBS program 'NCIS'. A year later, her first big-screen appearance came in the biographical drama movie J Edgar. Over the years she's made herself known among the top young actresses working within the field today. In 2011, she was nominated for the Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses 11-15 for her work on NCIS. In 2013 she was also nominated for an additional Young Artist Award for her appearance as a guest on Disney XD's comedy series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was one of the principal cast members of 'Mom' in its the first three seasons. She also appeared in several episodes of the fourth season. Her performance being a rising star on Mom brought her an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is presented to women who are outstanding actresses.
