Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford is an American performer and dancer. Her early Broadway performances are Wicked Legally Blonde & Hair. The actress was awarded an award from the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play in the role of Essie Carmichael in You Can't Take It With You. Tony Award-winning actor Annaleigh Ashford has spent the majority of her professional career working with highly acclaimed actors and directors in stage TV and film. She continues that award-winning work with numerous future projects. Ashford's next project will be a limited-edition Hulu series called Welcome to Chippendales, created by Robert Siegel. The show debuts on November 22nd and Ashford will be starring opposite Kumail Najiani. Ashford's upcoming project will be Searchlight Pictures horror thriller Dust and starring Sarah Paulson and Ebonmoss-Bachrach. This is undoubtedly a Hulu Original and will be streamed on Disney DTC. The film will premiere in March 2023. Ashford returns to Broadway as a co-star with Josh Groban in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. This production will be directed by Thomas Kail and produced by Jeffrey Seller, the team that brought you Hamilton. Ashford has acted as Paula Jones, the main character of Ryan Murphy's latest FX series American Crime Story Impeachment. It is based upon an incident that took place in the United States, involving Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp and other major character. Ashford was a part of two seasons on the hit CBS comedy B Positive.
